Starting a new journey at this point in life...In the summer of 2005, Richard Wexler, and his wife Anna, began to care for all four of their parents, three of them simultaneously. The course of providing care lasted over 14 years until the last one passed away at age 96.
Add two school age children, homework, after school activities, sports and the parents. They realized they were simply not prepared to become a part of America's "Sandwich Generation". As their parents became increasingly ill, it was quite a struggle. Richard and his wife had not given much thought to this point in their lives and they were overwhelmed. As they went through this journey they realized that many other families could benefit from their knowledge. What if they could save others from having to go through what they had gone through? To help others learn from their mistakes instead of stumbling through their own, Richard founded Points Of Life, LLC with the mission to be a beacon of hope and compass for those through every point of life. |
Being overwhelmed and realizing how little they knew about this point in their life, they began a quest to help others by creating a vast network to assist the individual, the family, caregivers, and businesses. |
